It's funny how, when I first joined this forum, back in January of 2004, I considered the posters with 2001 join dates -- since, at the time, a large percentage of this forum seemed to be comprised of members who had registered in that year -- to be the veterans of this forum. People like DTNF, The Drunken Actuary, and so on -- posters worthy of respect and honour.

But people like you, T-roy Boy (and, it goes without saying, myself included) -- people with join dates of 2002 and later -- I viewed, relatively speaking, as little more than noobs.

Now here we are, many moons later, and that one-year difference between 2001 and 2002, having been dwarfed by the passing of another eight years, doesn't seem so huge.

We've come a long way, haven't we, T-roy Boy?

Cheers, big guy.

When you put it that way, Swan, It doesn't seem to important. I mean, if I, as well as yourself, aren't looked up to as posters worthy with our long and exciting experience, then who can we, or anyone for that matter, expect to look up to in the future? Savy?

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.

I don't know if there are any records for 10-year pins.
Yes. Macroman.

Refresh your browser and clean your contacts, because I think you might start seeing 10 year pins like everyone else.... Now, about those dead people. :drphil:

We really need an emoticon like but with a cowboy hat. That would be very useful right here. :howdy:

If you're going for max avatar size, the Note Contributor group has the same added permissions as the 10 yr group. They also have larger file upload limits.
