There's no cut-off. They grade submissions in the order submitted. If they happen to clear the entire queue on Monday afternoon (highly unlikely), and you submit your paper Monday night, then it will likely be graded on Tuesday.

Note that this has happened before (see IA grading party in March 2012), here's a couple of posts from that thread:

However, IMO it is highly unlikely that they will clear out the entire FA queue in the next few days. There's simply too much of a backlog in FA right now.

am_vanquish - any idea what the wait might be for the FA taking this grading party into account? I submitted yesterday

No idea. I'm not a grader ... just another candidate using past performance in a feeble attempt to predict when my paper will be graded. Also note that I'm using the WAG method when opining on FAP wait times. (WAG = Wild @$$ Guess)

I checked the FA wait times from March 2012 also. Seems like FA results picked up a little bit the first week of March (same time as the IA grading party), but they only reduced the wait time from 11 weeks (on 2/29/2012) to 9 weeks (on 3/7/2012).

Seems like the wait times are most dependent on how "dense" the submissions are. I get the impression there were a lot more FA papers outstanding than IA papers at the last grading party. That's why the IA wait times dropped so dramatically, but the FA wait times barely moved (and were still significantly higher than "approximately 7 weeks").

Honestly, I wouldn't get your hopes up. It looks like FA wait times have been bouncing around 7 - 10.5 weeks for quite a while. Plus, I doubt the density of FA submissions has gone down recently (in fact, it may have gone up now that the Spring exam sittings are finished).

I had heard that the reason they didn't get through more submissions also had to do with there not being a lot of graders at the session in March.

In November, the wait time went from about 7-8 weeks to same day results. I guess that means there were a lot of graders then?

I thought about this too but it seems unlikely because you have to turn in MODs 6 and 7 before you can even start the FA. So in all likelihood you'll probably be turning in the FA one week later than the modules. It seems to me like you'd get your module results back before getting the FA results unless for whatever reason it takes them a lot longer to grade your modules than your FA. But, with the modules don't they automatically pass it if they haven't graded it withn 7 or 8 weeks or something like that?

I hope the SOA is at least feeding these people at the grader party. I'd demand pizza.
