At least at 5'9'', I stand a little chance. A 5'7'' is forever doomed to stand alone in the corner when the girl is getting ****ed by a real man.

to Catholics? (ones who are serious about their faith anyway, which is only a subset of people who call themselves Catholic) Um... I would certainly assume it was.

ETA: I did see it and my earlier guess was wrong. I guess to make it clear that terms like "Presiding Bishopric" are Mormons' terms - not Bloomberg's.

Lots of churches have "bishops", so the term and its meaning are familiar. I've never heard of a Presiding Bishopric before - it's not a term that non-Mormons know.

OK, substitute Jewish and God telling them to eat brisket and wear funny hats and work in the banking profession. I think that would be just as offensive, even though it is a group that has - per your definition - "chosen" to be Jewish. (As others have noted, children don't choose their religion when they are young.)

You were doing well up until the bolded part. At the risk of derailing the thread, it's difficult to defend why having a penis is a necessary component of being a priest without sounding sexist.

It's quite easy to explain why having a penis is a necessary component of being a father.

Or at least, why you need testes and not ovaries to be a father.
Yeah, that was a really bizarre statement. So bizarre I'm not sure I even want to engage on the topic.

I understand that. The phrase 'so-called' just doesn't seem like the best way to do that though.

It's not a big deal - it just seems weird to me.
