When is a PBGC 4010 filing required for a plan?

I found the answer to my own question at work today. I think it's when a plan has $50 million or more liabilities than assets (in other words a significant amount), in which case it needs to file this form. Thanks Duffer.

That sounds about right, but didn't PPA eliminate 4010 filings?

4010 Filing due for a plan year if:
(AVA – COB – PFB) / FT < 80%
