Sounds like a great way to pass. The faster you can get through the material, the more time to do practice problems.

It is anticipated that an unofficial pass or fail result will be introduced on MFE come March 2013 and beyond

I started studying a few days ago. I totally forgot most of the review material in ASM chapter 1. This might be a long few months.

They don't have instant results for MFE? Wow, that stinks. I wouldn't know whether to keep studying or switch to a new one for two months. Dang.

Last I heard, they would wait to see how the August sitting goes then they will decide if there will be instant p/f results for November. That was from the SOA a couple months ago. Anyone hear anything different since then?

Hi guys, if I start studying tomorrow. Do I have a chance?
No job, no school. Put at most 3 hours each day for 6 days a week until the exam in November.
Do I have a good chance?

Absolutely. You'll be able to get through the material pretty quickly if you study 3 hours a day, then it's just a matter of working problems/practice exams. I'm not really starting until next week.

Ok that's very encouraging. Are you also taking this in November?
