happy belated! I had my books open, but didn't get too much accomplished. Since it was my birthday, I didn't feel guilty.

I agree. Although it is quite tough..I enjoy it much more than the MFE and slightly more than the MLC and as I deal with parameterisation of losses for Solvency 2 purposes, I find it also quite useful too.

Even though I find it more interesting than the other exams, I feel like I am still behind. There are a lot of gaps in my knowledge so far. Hopefully Dave can fill in those gaps at the live seminar

Done with Lesson 16 in ASM. I feel behind with all of the over-achievers on the board!

Do you guys think I could be stubborn enough to try C in the next sitting? I plan on using TIA and probably ADAPT in the last week or so. I plan on starting to study on Monday... I guess the idea is to give it all and if I don't pass I just keep studying for February ...

Depends on how much quality time you can put into studying.

Do you have anything else to do?

Well, I have a 10 day vacay coming up... I plan on using the first three days to relax and attack the last week with studying for 8 hours a day... After that I return to work and I am planning on 4 hours a day on weekdays and 6 hours a day on week ends.... what do you think ?

If you really follow this study schedule, you'll be fine. However, for me, 4 hours per day on weekdays is way too much.

Agreed. If I get 2 hours in then I am completely happy for a weekday!
