Default How long do you keep internship on resume?

I'm a number of years past school (5> n < 10) think it's time to pull out the actuarial internship. What type of resume history is common to keep around? I like to keep a clean 1 page work history / education so could use the space to elaborate on later accomplishments, but I just can't pull the trigger on removing it yet. Previous non-actuarial work is at this point removed completely.

I'm 2 < n < 5 years out of school, and I still list my internships, but with no bullet points. It just shows that I do have a little experience in those areas. I don't feel the need to elaborate on any of my points since I didn't exactly do anything groundbreaking. If someone wants to know more, they can ask.

Isn't 5 > n < 10 a bit redundant?

I removed my internship years ago (I'm also still in the n < 10). Mainly because my internship was in an area that hired me back full time. So, including it didn't show any additional skill set (other than I managed to get an internship).

Did you do anything in your internship that you haven't done since in full-time positions?

Yeah they made me actually do work at my internship.

Well, sort of but not really, the specifics were different, but the generalities were the same.

Would you ever remove any employers from your resume - someone you worked for over a decade ago?

It would depend. If a decade ago for me means a part time job in high school or college, no I wouldn't include it.

But, I wouldn't remove any work experience since I became employed full time. But, any work experience that wasn't relevant or so entry-level it doesn't matter, I'd only include a very brief description of.

If you worked on a really unique project early on in your career, obviously you'd what to continue to highlight it. But, if your internship was basic entry level work, why continue to include it? What value is it adding?

New graduates or internship finishers should keep to 1 page. If 5<n<10, you should go beyond one page. If 10<n<15, I wouldn't feel bad about going into part of a third page. I've spent a large part of my career both inside and outside the actuarial field looking at resumes.

At some reasonable point in time, all professionals should be using the "functional resume" instead of the "chronological resume"
