Then there are all of those transition rules that will be employed when they change the Exams around . . . some will gain PC . . . but a lot more will likely lose hard-earned PC.

All of the above, pretty much. The tasks weren't simple though.

ic, i always thought valuation is pretty cool. The only thing that would bug me is if I am doing moot work. Pretty discouraging.

ok, i had a hell of a time in valuation, but i learned so much in one year doing that. depends on the product, of course, but all sorts of crazy stuff pops up unexpectedly.

hell, i think all pricing actuaries should do a stint in valuation before they get to price. b.c valuation ends up having to explain your mistakes.
