As long as compensation remains taboo, the corporations will continue to underpay when they get the chance.

Made some calls, see attachment (three different companies, non-management role, includes bonus)

Oh I know that. My company may be the biggest P&C insurer in the country, but they are also by far the least generous salary wise. With my bonus I just barely crack the 6 figures point ... so sad And the worst part is, mine isn't even the worst in my office.

That's surprising. I'd have thought that Intact paid above average for above average talent.
Do you knows who in mtl pays the best ?

Had a nearly exclusively personal lines role @ Economical while I really wanted to try out commercial lines. Was fast tracking at my old company, but wanted to expand my area of knowledge. Also wanted to switch cities, got hired for Toronto, but the AXA purchase (during my 2nd day of work) sort of stopped that.

Pretty much, 15% of FCAS in Canada work for Intact.

That's about the average for that level in Toronto.
I made the switch from Montreal to Toronto and the market is much better in Toronto in my opinion.

The question is how much will these drop when the SOA overthrows the CAS?
