Clearly it wouldn't be worthwhile for me to maintain relations with credit card companies, have a receptionist available for ordering, take care of packing and shipping, etc. I believe it is for reasons like this that ASM stopped doing retailing and had Actexmadriver do the distribution.
Actexmadriver had problems this time which delayed distribution of all of its manuals, and was incompetent in maintaining the availability dates on its website. Considering that they have competitors, including at least 2 popular manuals for this exam which aren't sold through them, I would expect they would do better on customer service in the future. |

Abraham, I think you got to do something about this situation.
I have been here long enough to know your manual worked very well for other people, so I really want it. However, for a lot of other people who don't know much about your manual, the delay of the publication will definitely have negative effect on the manual's sale, which means less money for you. ![]() |

I agree with SNJ's comments. I like the fact that ASM manual is both concise but complete enough to get you at least a 7 on the exam.

I am the publisher of the ASM manuals. Actex Mad River is the sole distributor of these manuals. I would like to explain what caused the delay in their availability.
Unfortunately, there was a death in the family of the key person at the compay that prints the manuals. Alternative printing capacity at other printing companies in the area was not available at the time. As a result, the publication of many of the ASM and Actex manuals was delayed until after the original target dates. Actex acted in good faith to make all of the manuals available as soon as possible. I can assure everyone that there was no intent on anyone's part to favor one publisher's manuals over another's. |
