Cleveland will beat Detroit. Cleveland will beat San Antonio. It's what Stern wants. He knows there is no better easter conf. vs. western conf. matchup than CLE vs. SAS for the finals. What better way to boost ratings than a stunning upset by "The King". Mike Brown is 3-1 (2-0 this season) vs. San Antonio in two seasons (his only lost was his 2nd game coaching) Mike Brown was an assistant under Popovich for their 2003 championship. LeBron is a big money superstar. Detroit doesn't have any. Look what Nellie did to Dallas.

San Antonio beats Cavs in 4 by a combined 100 points. Fewer people in North America watch the NBA Finals than the Stanley Cup finals, because pro basketball sucks.

Any one of the Western Conference playoff teams, with the possible exception of the dysfunctional Lakers, would have beaten any one of the Eastern teams in a best of 7 series. San Antonio won the Finals when Stern handed them game 5 against Phoenix.
