Default Health Care bill make little sense

I don't get it. Why government trying to sign this bill. For people who can't afford health insurance, is not there Medicaid?

And people with preexisting conditions? Isn't that why you have friends to donate money to help your cause if you need organ transplant? I thought concept of insurance was to pool risk appropriately. This is not insurance then?

So why don't we just do away with all insurance and have friends donate money when we need organ transplants?

And there's no problem if you are not poor now, but become poor because of the need for organ transplants (or any expensive procedures)? No problem! Just run out of money and go on Medicaid! Double-plus good, Winston!

There is evil that needs to be stamped out. Let us not concern ourselves with creating a system that's worse than the current one. The evil, which did not pay enough in campaign contributions, must go.

DTNF does not use red. Try reading his comment as irony.

DTNF was being sarcastical. He was mocking the position of many of the liberal supporters of the health reform bill.

The "evil" is the private health insurance industry. The position he was mocking was that they seem to prefer to make destroying the private insurance industry their goal, even though the methods used to do so will leave us worse off overall.
