I didn't pass any exams in college, but passed the courses for FIN and ECON VEE. I passed FM, and hope to pass P this week, so there will be at least a 2-4 year difference between passing the courses, and applying for credit.
I was just wondering, what date should I put on my resume, when I passed the relevant courses, or when I applied for credit? |

I would put down the date when the SOA recognized the requirement as being fulfilled - as in "VEEs approved, 11/2009."
Alternatively, if you have completed the VEEs but not yet applied for credit from the SOA, you could write "Coursework for VEEs completed, 11/2009." Note that the SOA acknowledges that it can take them as long as 6 weeks to approve the VEE credits. |

There have been a bunch of resumes posted in the Careers - Employment forum. I don't remember any listing dates on VEE - they just list the dates of the regular actuarial exams.
When you submitted the form and check to SOA doesn't really seem to be particularly important.

VEEs are meaningless. Unless you have a pretty thin bank of experience, leave them off. Or mentioning that you have them without dates is probably OK.

The simplest I've seen that people don't seem to get too anal about is "met requirements".
