I know that you cannot get VEE credit until you have passed at least 2 exams. However, I was wondering, can you get the courses at your school approved before-hand to cut down on wasting time looking into that later on? I'm an economics major and I have the Econ coursework, 2 Finance classes that cover the bulk of the material listed under Finance and 2 Econometrics classes that cover most/all of the stat topics. I'm studying for my exam P and would rather get them approved now rather than later.

Don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

Yes. I just did that for one of my courses this semester. Information about submitting your courses for approval can be found at: http://www.soa.org/education/exam-req/edu-vee.aspx
