I have what I call a “contract with the bees” meaning that I don’t kill bees and wasps and they don’t sting me. I routinely capture bees and wasps in tissue paper and remove them from office space. I also remove grasshoppers and spiders. I think scorpions are cool and probably would let them live.
Roaches, ants, fleas, ticks, and mites must die, die, die!!! What animals and insects deserve to die for their natural actions? I have no experience with beavers but have understood they can be a legitimate problem. Do people eat beavers? (I’m giggling but I meant that seriously.) |

I don't kill bee's and spiders. I go out of my way to kill any wasps near the house.

I figure the spiders do their part and usually leave them but kill everything else I see in the house. OTOH, I woke up the other day with a couple of bumps that I think might be spider bites, so my policy may change soon.

Yellow jackets and wasps must die when in the house.
ants also must die. It's bad luck to kill a spider in your house so I capture them and free them to the wild. Mice must be killed in the house. Moths and butterflies kill themselves when they fly into my hot lamp ![]() |

Don't need to kill bugs and mice. I have cats that take care of that for me.
(Actually, I will vacuum to death bees, wasps and yellow jackets 'cause they would sting the cats.) |

Ants have to die. Mice tend to die in my cooking oil, so I guess I don't feel too bad about that since the dumb mouse crawled into the bottle of oil to begin with. I mean, did he seriously think he would be able to climb up a plastic bottle with oil all over his feet??? HELLO!!! If they don't die in the oil, they'll die in the dryer which is REEAAALLLLL fun when you go to run the hot dryer to dry your clothes. If I am able to catch the mice BEFORE either of the events, that's the best cause they are dead and disposed before they cause a big stink. Cucarachas...yep...gotta go. Spiders...indifferent Fleas...no problems with these yet..(meaning I haven't had them and neither has my cat) Those disgusting millipedes or whatever they are...YUCK. There was one time when I stepped into the shower and started to turn on the faucet when I saw one. I screamed, grabbed the towel, and ran for my dad to help me...like I was going to kill the thing NAKED! |
