The strait of Malacca is one of the most important waterways of the world. That and the Suez Canal are most important when it comes to Middle East oil.

Currently 1,142 ships per day ply the waters through this entrance to the South China Sea. Virtually all Middle Eastern oil shipped to Asian customers must pass through the Strait of Malacca.

USA is somewhat interested in controlling oil. More specifically, USA is interested in controlling the strait of Malacca:

And "conveniently" it happens on Christmas day, when people aren't really paying attention to much of anything unless it comes giftwrapped:

It should have been well placed to judge the size of the quake and to warn countries around the Indian Ocean that a massive undersea disturbance had occurred.

However, the machines whirred on unmanned and unobserved; the staff were on holiday. Like so many other locals and tourists in countries around the Indian Ocean, they were oblivious to the terrible destruction now rippling out across the sea.

So now the way is open for the U.S. joined by England and others to send in their troops to help "reconstruct" parts of Indonesia. This by way of seizing more oilfields.

[To his credit, Ruppert's book was prophetic. On page 550, he shows a map of Sumatra pointing out that the Strait along side it has the most traveled oil boat routes in the world, the Strait of Malacca. Will it now be under the control of U.S. troops and others of the Oil Cartel? ].

In conclusion, I feel there are a lot of coincidences that happened here. Probably too many coincidences. So, instead of the coincidence theory (God made), I'm leaning towards conspiracy theory (Bush made). How about you?
