Here are a few hands from a Party $200 SNG that I played yesterday. What a wild ride it was.

The fifth hand of the game set the tone.

When BB = original Stack size just 40 minutes into the tourney, their isn't a whole lot of time for patience or tight play.

i was referring to the hands ppl play and push with, the bluffs they try to make, etc etc at the higher levels are sometimes as bad as if not worse than those at the lower levels.

I understand what you are saying, but my point is that when you are going to be shortstacked (ie, less than 10BB) unless you double up in the first 20 minutes, pushing with AK may not be all that bad a strategy if you aren't very skilled post-flop.

That AI with AK was not as bad a play as calling with AT. But, as Hawk said, they were prolly trying to make a big move early. But, look where that early big stack got Shifty.

The worst play was Thunder's when I was BB with less than 2BB. I have no idea why he didn't raise because I was going to call with my 68o. He actually thought about that for some time before folding too.
