He 2x'd preflop(could be anything on a short tbl), then check/calls the rest of the way. He could have anything from AA to 22 and all combinations in between.

Edit: But you've hit the best river you could hope for, so I throw out a pot size bet.

It smells like AA to me, but I still bet the river, only because you bet the flop and the turn and he just called. I could be wrong about AA and would expect that he might play AK the same way. He could also min raise with KK, too, and is trying to get to showdown.

I agree with hardinda, except I'd toss out a smaller bet then pot...something he can call with KK....maybe $7 or $8.

Was betting just to try and take the pot there. BTW, that isn't me. it is a guy who is a good aggressive player though.
