Default Not terrorism:

Several members of the same family, including women and children, have been killed in a US air strike that destroyed their home in northern Iraq.
There was confusion over the number of casualties, but local authorities in the town of Beiji, north of Tikrit, have confirmed at least six dead.

US forces said they acted after seeing three men suspected of planting a roadside bomb enter the house.

The raid has prompted anger among some local political leaders.

US military spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Barry Johnson said the men, who ran into the house after digging a hole, were assesed as a threat to civilians and military forces.

We bombed that house because the guys that went into the house were deemed a threat to civilians.
Um, you think bombing civilians is a threat to civilians? Nah, our bombs only kill terrorists.

Your right. It isn't terrorism.

Easy.

I was with some friends in a small shop 100 metres (yards) away from the house when I heard the bombing at around 9:30 pm," Hassan told AFP.

"I rushed over to see. My house was destroyed and there was smoke everywhere," he said, adding that he heard the plane responsible for the attack.

Rescue workers recovered eight bodies -- those of a nine-year-old boy, an 11-year-old girl, three women and three men from the debris, Hassan said.

Two more women and an eight-year-old boy were found badly injured but alive, while another three people were still missing Tuesday afternoon.

Hassan, who runs a gravel-making firm, said he had no idea why his home in an industrial part of the restive town was bombed.

Don't it make you feel proud?
And safe?

You were afraid of that 9-year old boy, and 11-year old girl?

Where were you lefty vigilantes when Hussein was killing Kurds by the hundreds via sarin gas, etc. in 1987-88, in subsequent years attacks, shootings, and torture, rape, decapitation and bodily disfigurement sessions?

You would have been unable to hold a job with all the required reporting of murders by Saddam, Udai and Kusai Hussein, Chemical Ali, and the rest of the Bad Baghdad Baathist Gang.

You can always report on those events, one by one, retroactively, starting now! Don't forget to double check your body count figures with the locals.

I wasn't shaking his hand, if that's what you're saying. But I know someone who was...

But I guess that was before Rummy decided Iraq's freedumb was the most important thing in the world. Right?
