Default pbs grammar poll

The new fall lineup for PBS has curious george & the dude in the yellow hat. Kids were watching it this morning. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that I heard the man in the yellow hat use an adjective where he meant to use an adverb. Hey, do we have a thread around here for grammar pet peeves?

I'd vote for nothing if it were an option.

depends. if you are describing the hands, you could call them good hands (although in english we typically put the adj first). if not describing the hands being washed, then I vote for "well".

This explanation is only acceptable if you are a lawyer.

Washing them good is like washing them clean.

Maybe I assumed the wrong punctuation.

"Be sure to wash your hands. Good!"

How about washing them good and clean? I mean, if you can wash them clean and you can wash them good and clean, you should be able to wash them good.

Are you sure it wasn't a Yoplait commerical? "It's like a weekend with no boyyyys good." "It's like be sure to wash your handdddddddds good."

Where's the option for "with soap" or "before you leave the bathroom" or "off" or "of all your sins" or any number of other options, along with the option that the blank doesn't even need to be filled in?

The significance is that some killjoy complained to the mods, and they dumped it here so the respectable people wouldn't have to deal with seeing its blight in the land of milk and honey known as Surveys.
