Default Paper and pencil test sites

This will be my first paper and pencil test, as the only other test I've taken is P (taken in CBT format). So I'm curious, what are the paper-and-pencil testing centers like?? Do we get seperate desks?? Are there blinders seperating people? I'm fairly easily distracted, so *watches birds outside* I'm hoping the testing center, at the minimum, won't be visually distracting. Any input is greatly appreciated!

That really depends on your exam site. One of my sites was in a large ball room, and each of us got a rather large (4 foot in diameter) circular table. Another exam site had rows of long tables with 2 people per table, spaced out by about 3 feet (no blinders).

My current exam site is about 15 feet from me right now, and has a decent view out the windows, but you'd have to turn completely around in order to see them.

Most testing centers are at universities or at companies, so you'll get placed in a class room, or a conference room, or a lunch room, nothing too fancy to get distracted by. And, if you're easily distracted by things in the room, just get there a little early, take a look at everything in the room, so there won't be anything to explore mid-exam!

They vary all over the lot. I think some large centers will have two people to a table, no blinders. (Blinders are inconceivable to me; most sites are just large rooms, not used year-round for testing).

Hmmm...That's kinda what I figured. I think my exam center is in a hotel, in Seattle, which may be the only P&P center in the whole state. Oh well, I'll just have to deal. Thanks guys, that helps!
