Default high school cheerleaders -- no pics (sorry)

I didn't see this in my printed Newsweek.

"Condoms to go" store? That's kind of the opposite of what I thought they were for.

What a cunning linguist you are.

You'd think that schools would have some rule about children enrolled at the principal's own school, or have some work-around regarding enforcement of rules.

my dad was one of the vice principals at my high school for 4 years (i was there for his last 2 years, my 9th and 10th grade years)...i never got special treatment and there were a couple of incidents on my freshman baseball team that my dad handled well.

I think that they could have used a better description of the town than 'bedroom community' considering the content of the story.

This link was on Drudge a few days ago. It was a slow work day, so I googled a bit about this. It's quite interesting. The cheerleading coach went to the media, which is why anything was even done about it.

Maybe she could just print out this article and use it for her letter of recommendation.

To her credit, everybody agrees that under her tenure, the schools academic performance has increased.

Maybe I'm dense...

But can someone explain to me why the pictures taken in a condom store could result in a suspension from school (originally of 30 days, decreased to 15)? Was it because they were in their cheerleading uniforms (with school's name, no doubt)?

While in poor taste, I don't see why this picture should result in any punishment with the school...

I wondered the same thing, and came to the same conclusion you did.
