I'm taking the rest of this week off to enjoy life a little bit and think through strategy. Will start next week.

Ready to get started with this thing. Will start tomorrow with a thorough pass through the papers I just can't seem to grasp easily:

Robin
Coval
Bodoff
Keeps
Mango

This will probably take me to late june.
Then I'll do one last thorough pass through the entire syllabus while doing past exam problems. That'll take me to late August.

Then it'll be time to do practice exams.

Let's go!

Officially got back on the studying wagon this weekend. I'm basically treating this like a 2nd sitting attempt as far as my studying strategy goes.

I finally finished my Kreps and Mango once through (a month or two delayed), and now I'm cycling through from the beginning, heavy on the problems.

Glad I am not alone in this... What worries me is of the few study sessions I did, I find the quality of my studying was way down at home. I really need a secluded place to study, but right now home is the only option. This does not bode well for me.

I kinda understand how you feel. I've been working from where I typically study for the last few months, and now studying in the same spot feels different and less productive.

I think I'm going to find a new spot to study just so it's a change of scenery.

I'm following the same approach as manaknight and treating it like a second attempt and just re-doing everything from scratch rather than starting on problems. Should hopefully get back up to speed pretty fast this way.

I read two pages of Goldfarb yesterday.

For me, I used to read on my commute both ways for over an hour. Now my morning is getting my kids ready for zoom classes. And at night its getting everyone fed. My wife is PA so she has been working.

Ironically, it seems like I have lost study time. I need to figure out a new plan.

I feel your pain. It's been really hard to study outside of work hours. I just started taking company paid study time, but studying at home while the kids are awake is, um, challenging.
