Wow, that's a tough little sucker, isn't it?

A neighbor had one of the earliest versions of lawn robots. I haven't talked to him in quite a while, and he lives far enough from me that I wouldn't know if he still uses it or not. But he loved it. One thing he liked was that he could run it multiple times per week during the faster growing seasons. That's apparently better for the health of the grass.

I read through a couple reviews and started liking the idea more and more.. until I saw the price tag. $3.5k, probably add another $500 for taxes, fees, installations. Yikes

Last time I looked at these, they didn't handle hills very well.

Some of the expensive ones are supposed to be good with hills now. That's actually why I'm interested. Manhandling my lawnmower around trees on slopes is getting harder.
