He did refer to himself both as an 'actuary' and a 'statistician' on the show.

I'm surprised he was strong enough to fight off all the ladies on his way onto the stage.

Bonus point, the movie was pretty funny.
Watching it now. Told my kids that if a cartoon character wants to be an actuary anyone should want to.

From Dave Egger's "Heroes of the Frontier" chapter XVII. The family, traveling through alaska, just having seen a moose for the first time:

But she knew that seeing that moose was wildly anticlimactic, in the same way seeing a coyote, so small and weak and like the spawn of a hyena (the hunched back, the servile demeanor) and a housecat (its size, its dull eyes), was anticlimactic. This moose before them, which they were photographing with actuarial thoroughness, was a sorry specimen, thin and clumsy and not much taller than a pony.

Rosewood season 2 episode 3,

in the middle of a gun fight,

"in the insurance game, my job is to use actuaries to predict the length of people's lives. With your physique and flawless skin, you're a good bet to be around for a long time. But the thing that actuaries don't take into account is people who make dumb decisions and get themselves killed."

I believe that's best demonstrated with "the stupid period" between 18ish and 40ish
