You will get an email from the CAS before the course with both the pre-readings as well as additional information for the course.

The pre-reading list is not particularly long.

If you want a head start, read the CAS Code of Conduct https://www.casact.org/professionali...ex.cfm?fa=code

and the AAA qualification standards. http://actuary.org/files/imce/qualif..._standards.pdf

(note, this document is 47 pages long, but you only need to read the actual standards, which is 13 pages)

I would encourage you to read the material closer to the course if possible, so the information is fresher.
