SERFF is all javascript or maybe AJAX and works in FF and Chrome, but the formatting is all wonky and borders run through words and stuff hangs off the side of the windows, for example. It is hopefully going to fix that.

Anyone know if there is a hack that forces Chrome to open pop-ups in a new tab. Chrome's spartan options menu doesn't have anything.

ReserveRage and anyone else with a Captivate: I've put the JH2 test ROM on my Captivate and the GPS works well for me without any network help; I've not gone into the settings to adjust any of the GPS stuff at all. However, you do need to root it and do some hacking because it is a test ROM and keeps logs of all GPS activity, and those fill up the internal storage fairly quickly.

Chrome portable shouldn't need XP administrator rights... I don't think. Plus, if you are Vista+ that shouldn't even be an issue anymore.

Yes... Been running rooted froyo for months...

Plus, I read that the (adb) method for rooting the DroidX reportedly will work for almost every phone.

Froyo for Droid X leaked today. Downloading now. Somewhat nervous but excited!

Watching my favorite flash video. Just cause I can.

I think cause its not the stock 2.2 update, I can still tether. The update all button in the market is nice. The app drawer scrolls more smoothly.

There is a little box around everyone's picture in contacts/social networking that I don't care for. The keyboard got uglier but seems to work better. Dolphin HD isn't scrolling very well.

Main thing I am hoping for is that my notification sounds work all the time. All in all, not world-changing difference. Kinda wondering what all the hype was about. Time to start obsessing over Gingerbread I guess.

4th Moto Droid is now on the way. Apparently Froyo fried my gallery app. Force closes like crazy and not even the factory reset helps. So they're sending me yet another Droid (preloaded with 2.2).

Overall, my experience with Android and Motorola has been positive, but it's been a rocky last few weeks with all these problems. Thankfully VZW customer support has been helpful.

Constantly reinstalling apps is not fun. I really wish there was a way to transfer over USB like iOS. Android needs this badly.
