Haha, that's a fun way to look at it. Also watch out Gretzky, Matthews is on pace to score nearly 150 this year.

Seems odd there are no games today. Tomorrow Leafs/Caps will be an interesting one.

I really wish we knew more about what Nylander is thinking as each game goes by.
Must be killing him to not be a part of this, he could easily have 10 points already too. I hope they figure this out ASAP otherwise maybe they can trade him for some clearly needed defense.

NJ is last remaining undefeated team.

In the parts of last nights game that I watched, it looked like Varsity vs. JV. Jersey were coming off a 4 day rest.

Didn't get to watch Caps vs Devils (prob a good thing) and Caps vs Leafs. Reviews I've heard of the latter game was that the Caps were pretty sloppy and Leafs showed their offensive prowess. Caps are in an okay spot so far, 2 losses in a row though, hopefully it doesn't grow too long. Hurricanes and Devils off to really good starts. Boston hasn't lost since losing their opener to the Caps. Toronto wins 4 road games in a row. The only two teams without a win are Detroit (winless through 5) and Florida (winless through 3).

Caps a little uneven but I'm liking what I'm seeing on the PP!

Dan, I'll be in town for Thanksgiving and will probably go to one or both of the games bracketing the holiday- Hawks and Wings.

I have tickets to the Hawks game the 21st.

Went to the Panthers game last Friday, wild one. Incredibly ugly first period allowing 4 goals, but nice comeback to get a point. I keep saying this and will continue to do so, someone tell Ovi to take more shots in the shootout!!!!!! He always dekes and way more likely than not, gets stopped. He has the most deceptive shot in the league, at least add a pure snipe or a pump fake into the shootout arsenal. I was surprised that Reirden put him out there 3rd for the shootout, Trotz went away from that over time.

Haven't followed the Kings that closely so far (or the NHL in general besides overall standings). I'm surprised the Habs are doing as well as they are, I expected (am expecting) them to have a disappointing season. NSH, WPG, TOR, TB all aren't surprises to be near the top early. Strong teams all of them.
