Falcons cut CB Alford (no surprise) and K Bryant. Fans are not happy about the Bryant cut. He’s been one of the best kickers in the league for the last several years and is by far the best K in franchise history. He is old but he still had distance and accuracy last season. I hope he gets a shot at a ring with a contender.

It was time for ATL to move on from Bryant. I'd say it was due to his injury this year in conjunction with his age. But he should be an Falcon HOFer (ring of honor, whatever they call it) because he made a disproportionate number of long clutch kicks in his ATL career. He was appreciated, but still underappreciated.

Injury risk, salary, and having a young cheap K on the roster were all big considerations Iím sure. Falcons will pay Jarrett at DT, will rework Julioís deal, and may extend Dion Jones early. Need to free up cap space. Beasley will also likely be a cap casualty or have to take a pay cut.

Agree that Bryant should be in team ring of honor.

it appears that the Broncos are trading a 4th round pick for Joe Flacco

Post-Manning Elway seems to be lost searching for a QB. Such a bad option.
