I've been trying to get a definition of LGBTQ+ all day. I can't seem to get a straight answer.

Anyway if it used to be a slur and some LGBTQ+ consider it offensive why would you use it when there are other alternatives.

Because the leading alternative has become alphabet soup? Because some people described by that word prefer it?

I'm still a little shy about using "queer" unless I'm replying in kind to someone who has already broken that ground. But I'm hoping it succeeds, because it's a better word that the alternatives.

Yeah, I'm still more than a little shy about using that term. Even if I had a friend who described themselves that way, I'd be worried about saying it and someone else overhearing who would take it entirely the wrong way. I suspect I have at least one friend who has used the "n-word" to describe himself. Ain't no way I'm repeating it.

So use something else. GSM. Or make up a word. We are now the Foxclore community.

Really? Am I really the only one who cringes at the word "community" -- not just in this context but virtually every time it is used?

Hmm, I guess in that respect I'm just...strange; odd...

Hide inside your head
The blindest of the blind
The deadest of the dead
You're hungry 'cause you starve
While holding back the tears
Choking on your smile
A fake behind the fear
