I know someone who has literally every Amiibo. They just sit on a shelf, taking up space.

I'm a huge Nintendo fan, and I only have two Amiibo that I got incidentally, through the purchase of a game that came with them. I think they're kind of ugly.

I like Nintendo's art and I wouldn't be opposed to framing some Nintendo artwork and hanging it on a wall, but the second it starts taking up three dimensional space, get it out of here!

If I were a kid I would probably think they were pretty cool

I have 7 Amiibo that represent games I loved growing up.
Dr. Mario (played so many hours of that game)
Duck Hunt (it wasn't until I was 20 that I learned about the sights on the gun)
Mewtwo (for Pokémon)
Ryu (for street fighter)
Cloud (played every main numbered FF game from 1-13)
Mega Man (have played 1-10)
Little Mac (for so, so much Punch-Out!!)

I would like to play WoA in some Dr. Mario. I loved that game.

We have a Yoshi Amiibo that came with Yoshi's Wooly World but we don't have the Amiibo reader for the 3DS. A fact I am frequently reminded of by a certain 5-year old.

I am sure I'm not so great anymore, but I remember getting really far into the game and needing twitch reflexes to keep going.

I kind of want a Yarn yoshi Amiibo. Really enjoy playing that game with my wife. Gonna get a Switch some time in the next year due to that and Kirby coming out.

I brought my NES to college and we would play Dr. Mario tournaments. We made a drinking game out of it (I don't remember the exact rules) which led to some interesting and hilarious moments because you had to take your hand off the controller to drink and it was on fast speed so several pills would fall if you fumbled around with the cup. Then if you lost the Dr Mario game with a beer in your hand, you had to do a shot. Ah college.

And yeah, that's been one of my favorites of the 3DS. I thought about getting WiiU just to play it on a big screen. I definitely enjoyed it more than my son even though ostensibly it's his game.

I dl'd Dr Mario on WiiU, mainly for me. I was kind of blown away by how quickly my kids became obsessed with it. Truly a timeless classic.
