Btw, zoom seems like a good choice. It’s quite a step ahead of what we used to do 20ish years ago...man chat!

Yes, or you can gift the program through steam, after you've bought copies. Iirc, it's about 20 bucks, or one buyin. It does allow for microphone chat. The mechanics are a little technical, but it's a small step for pc gamers to overcome. I think there is a limit to players in a game of 10.

Do you use Steam?

No. And the people in the game I am thinking about are not gamers.

How has the online platform worked out for you (llcool,Kenny, Tommy)? What program did you use?

For all players, any tips on staying focused during an online game?
I plan on cleaning off my desk and getting some poker chips that I can riffle.

I'm not a poker player, so I can't comment on poker platforms. But I am playing bridge and minecraft on-line, with zoom and discord for the related banter. And while it may seem like "duct tape", it's working really well. Discord is free to use, but Zoom has a higher success rate (that is, everyone who has been invited succeeded in getting into the zoom chat with minimal support.) And only one person in the group needs to have a paid zoom account.

I saw at Poker Stars they have a "Home Game" Option. I set up a Club. I think we'd have enough trust between each other to set up some kind of online cash game. If you interested go ahead and post here and lets discuss the nut-n-bolts of how to do a AO-only cash game.

Ive been playing two freebie tables and every other hand I get the "Im back" button. So far I am not liking it so far. Maybe its different with private tables.
