That would be a fun tie breaker or bonus point question. Maybe next time...but probably not.

There will be no hazing here, but we are prone to rubbing salt in wounds regardless of rookie or seasoned-veteran status.

Last year, I was the 6th entrant and submitted picks on July 3. The tiebreaker and additional picks certainly drove more early entry behavior. Wonder who will wait the latest and have no tie breaker but the advantage of knowing Trubisky, Brady and Mahomes are done for the season.

That's where you realize the value of having an alt.

There's nothing wrong with an alt, but you can also simply resubmit your picks and endure the wrath of us comparing & second-guessing your new picks against your old. Obviously, you lose your place in line & your early entrant awards, but your alt didn't get those either.

If it were me, though, I'd submit it under an alt - the more entrants the better.

Alt picks are for weenies that won’t put themselves out there. I get the alts that get tossed from Politics but for multiple picks, no pride in alts. It’s like cheering for the Sox and the Yanks.

To clarify... if we resubmit then we obviously go to the end of the line as it stands at the time we resubmit.

But are we still eligible for any applicable COFP awards based on the new entry date? Like suppose I resubmit during the 1 COFP award timeframe. Would I start the season with 1 COFP award or 0?

My understanding from past seasons was that the answer was 1, but re-reading it makes it kind of sound like it’s 0, maybe as a deterrent to not be so annoying?

ETA: I have no plans to resubmit... just like to be aware of the rules!

Well, you also make a good point. If your alt does well, then that record will always be associated with that alt...not your main id. [exasperated]What are you gonna' do? Switch main ids?!?!?[/exasperated]

You are still eligible for any applicable COFP awards based on the new entry date. You would have 1 in the instance you propose.

Obviously, making a new post will result in a new time stamp on your entry, and opens you to ridicule and the Salt In Your Wounds award.
What do you mean? That's as clear as mud!
