Default Tech Actuaries In demand

Hello Forum-

There is a growing trend in large industries strategy to take tech actuaries help to roll out products quicker and faster into the market and developing capabilities to correct and re lunch products.

How do you define Tech Actuaries?
"They are those who are actuarial education and trained in software
programming "

OR
" They are those whose are software developers trained and educated in
actuarial mathematics and subjects"

I belong to 2nd category. Now I'm associated with "Actuarial modeling systems". We are offering companies Tech actuarial supports such as
- Developing software calculation models (SAS, VPMS, .net, python, VBA etc)
- Maintaining Excel pricing models. This would save a lot of valuable time of actuaries.
- Testing calculation models
- Training actuaries to become tech actuaries.

Please comment this article and contact me of you have any questions.

Thanks
Rooney

This. I would never hire anyone who uses that website as their home. It tells me that the people who work there want to show how flashy they can be, but they are incredibly inefficient at communicating their point.

Second things second, hire a proofreader. Most of that post is grammatically incorrect and reflects very poorly on the author.

With due respect to members replied. for e.g insurance anything that actuaries develop eventually needs to be integrated into various policy admin systems. I've worked with top 5 insurers for years crating actuarial software models.
With Google and Amazon most likely disrupt insurance industry companies are taking up the challenge to roll out products in two months opposed to 2 years.

so, our organization helps in developing those software models with 7702, COI, projections , Statement of accounts projections, agent commissions and more.

Thanks

I have worked for multiple top 5 insurers and never heard of you. I have not worked for a top 5 PreNeed insurer, so maybe you're playing with the biggest fish in the smallest pond?

Also, you really should proofread if you're going to advertise yourself. It goes right back to the point I made. Also helps if you respond to people leaving comments.

Again, based on everything I have seen, I would not hire your company. Good luck with Google (which if they do get into insurance will abandon it within a year like they do everything else) or Amazon (which cannot use their typical method of undercutting everyone to force them out of the market).

Even the website itself itself is riddled with typos and inconsistencies. First thing I would do is design something more professional. Moreover, it's confusing. I'm not sure what you actually do. Is vague where it should be specific and specific where it would help to be vague.

Guessing single-employee consulting company.
