From a friend's wife, who recently decided to get her real estate license: "This is the time to buy! The market's like a desert for sellers, because they're all underwater!"

From a manager in the office across from me just now: “Well, you’ll kill more stones with one throw if you do it this way…” He even stuttered just a tiny bit, halfway through saying it, as if some part of his brain knew it was a little off, but the rest of him was determined to be florid.

My own manager, in a meeting a couple of weeks ago: “We can do it in that order, but you’re really making me put the chicken before the egg on that one." I'm still thinking about this one, it might actually make sense.

I just overheard somebody say, "Oh yes, I've done that manys of times!" I don't think I have ever heard that one before. I've usually heard "many of times."

Four legs on a stool?

I once overheard someone saying "the straightest distance between two points is a line". Technically not wrong.
