I agree that breakfast is the best meal of the day.
I agree that breakfast I make at home is usually better than breakfast out, but I don't think all breakfast out options are horrible.
Of the ones on the list I have occasionally eaten at, which isn't many, Perkins was the best. None on the list are available near me.
The best chain restaurant breakfast I know of is at Governor's, a chain only found in Maine. Their lunch and dinner offerings are fairly lackluster, unless you are really only there for the dessert. But their breakfasts are great.
