OP are you in the US?

I believe contracting is very common in the UK but labor laws are different there and I have no idea how quitting and being fired works.

Itís big in the UK and can be very lucrative (£1000+ a day), but does come with risks. Do a search, I remember there being a couple of threads about it in the past.
