I got ...... well, I didn't do squat the last week or so. Something about the Spring Meeting, going back home, taking care of things there, etc. Next few weeks are going to require travel back home on the weekends, so I'm going to have to rearrange my planned study schedule accordingly but I still think I can have a draft of an examples file ready by late July.

Checking off today accordingly. So, as you all start Tuesday morning just make a mental note that it's 155 days to the exam so we've got plenty of time yet.

If I wanted to study on the cheap (free), where should I start? Are there free study materials or trial-period-stuffs out there for exam 8?

I understand there is always source, and examiners reports, for me to go to.

I think most places have a sample product. By and large, it's going to be Section A - specifically, ASOP 12 and Bailey-Simon. I don't think you're going to be able to cobble enough together to make an entire study manual.

There might be stuff from threads in past years where people have posted their notes. However, you're subject to (A) what they posted, and (B) how they put it together.

Thanks Mud. Good to know.

There's been so many exam prep entrepreneurs in the past few years it's hard to keep track. I was just reading on Crystals website her material is $175. I think that's reasonable, I may just get that if I decide to go. Don't think I can shell out much more my hard earned dollars for exam prep

She was great for 9. Could go with her or Mahler if you're looking for cheap. Mahler would go more in depth, CC would be more brief, but that could be a good thing for 8.
