The fact that this is sticky never fails to make me laugh. I can verify that this position is no longer open, since I ... was the person who got this job. Started in 2017. I'm no longer in that position, but it was a good gig.

Maybe that's why it's a sticky: people take the job, leave soon after. Thus, job's always open.

100% not open. I'm still at the company, just in a different role. I can attest to the fact that the new person has worked out quite well, which was nice because I got to help pick him.

Also, the 404 Not Found! message that you get when you click the job posting link is a pretty good indicator.

I agree that there's no reason for it to be sticky, so absurd possibilities are the only option.

I actually saw the exact same job, under the same manager, show up every April-May for four years straight. I'm glad I didn't get an offer after interviewing the first time that job was open.

I can attest to the fact that it's only a short jaunt to the Pacific Ocean, there are earthquakes, and every single one of my elected representatives is a Democrat (outside of, you know, the White House).
