I am definitely interested in trying this. Do you have a general estimate for how many hours it would take to complete the course?

I registered for CA and have spent about 2-3 hours on it so far. It's self-paced, versus Actex and NEAS which have set Final dates. This type of flexibility is really important to me. The price is also cheaper than Actex but that's a moot point if your company pays for the course. I have already submitted some questions about the theory and received a prompt, clear response from the staff. I've worked through the first unit (out of 10 units) and I don't think I need the textbook so far. Regardless, the text book costs less than $30 bucks. So far def no complaints and I feel like I made the right choice

It is Regression and Time-series combined for now.

Is it possible that the two will be separated in future?

Thanks

Any idea about how long it takes to get through the course? I'm retaking C in June, but would like to get this course done beforehand.

"The final exam must be proctored. You can provide your own proctor or Coaching Actuaries may be able to provide one. Latest version of Skype is required for Coaching Actuaries proctoring."

How does that work?

I wish this would happen. I need just time series.

I would say 3 weeks (1 week per section) as a conservative estimate, and since they ask that you schedule the final exam 2 weeks in advance, I would say 2 weeks would be the minimum

I was on track to finish in 3 weeks working at a leisurely pace, but something came up and I had to push the exam back a week.
