I have a pro tip on where you can keep your watch if you need to pack ultra-light.

Washing in the sink works. We are coming back from vacation now. We did a 2-day side trip and I took a backpack with 3 changes of clothes and toiletries and it wasnít very full. So Iíd wager for 8 days you could figure out how to pack for four days and wear stuff twice, wash underwear and socks in the sink or tub.

I think you are taking the whole frugal Actuary shtick a bit too far with this one.

Well since you think it's worth the extra $300, mail me a check for it and I'll take the more expensive option. I send a pic of all the clothes I was able to haul around thanks to you.

Part of me thinks it would be worth it to not have to haul around a carry-on. I didn't have a place to put it when I first arrived in Paris, and ended up hauling it up hundreds of steps to the very top of Sacre Couer. If instead I have a very full backpack which I can unload whenever I arrive at my stay, and isn't too inconvenient the rest of the time, it might make the trip better.

I was going to say I'd take WOW and spring for the check in baggage. But now I've looked at their site to see the cost of the check in bag, I've been annoyed by how many fees they want to charge. So screw them.

Is that a good thing or bad thing?

I've never flown RyanAir, but have not heard much good about them. So do the steroids make them worse, or better than Ryan?

"Wow" is the word that comes to mind when I look at their website. $99 to go to cities I can't even pronounce. I wonder if I could talk my wife into this somehow.
