I had about .097 BTC left after I sold 1 BTC for a graphics card a couple years back. Now the .097 is worth almost $400...

For Neo, offline, to generate gas. That will likely be rectified by bittrex soon.

My security is not as good as theirs, bit I'm also much less likely to be attacked.

Ya, it's speculative even for speculative cryptos. It has the NEO guy behind it basically and that's enough to pump it 400%. I don't even know what it does yet other than facilitate some part of binance.
