It was just a few months ago that Trump changed the "Countering Violent Extremism" program to "Countering Islamic Extremism" and would no longer target groups such as white supremacists who have also carried out bombings and shootings in the United States.

The Charlottesville incident really deserves its own thread. Posts about it are drowning out the other hate crimes listed in the thread, and vice versa in the long run.
