Does anyone know anyone who passed MFE with TIA as their main source?

Results haven't come out yet but I'm 95% positive I got a 4 or 5 on this last sitting. TIA was my main source.

Other people have said that TIA is not sufficient to pass most of the exams, especially MFE. I didn't believe them though because I used TIA as my only source for FM and I rocked that exam. TIA let me down for MFE though.

I'm going to give Actuarial Brew a try for the August sitting. I have heard a lot of good things about their MFE seminar. I'll likely come back to TIA for MLC.

I've only heard a lot of good things about AB's MFE review notes, problems, and exams, but never heard of anything about their seminar. Which seminar do you think i should use, AB or Coaching Actuaries?

I don't know anything about Coaching Actuaries seminar so I can't speak to that.

I've heard good things about the live seminar for AB (I didn't go) and I can only assume the online videos are going to be good. I'm still in the beginning of the lessons, but so far so good. Definitely more thorough than TIA videos.

I used TIA as my main source with my other source being a 2 week subscription to ADAPT. I believe I passed and was prepared. Both sources were useful.

So are you currently using the AB online seminars?

TIA was great also, the only lacking ortion of TIA was the problem sets. I used TIA and ADAPT....if I wanted more in depth practice on a certain section I used ASM.

I passed May 2011 and I only used ASM. I thought it was sufficient to pass the exam as the only source.
