ACTEX eLearning Presents:

ACTEX eLearning Webinar:
Enterprise Risk Management with Sim Segal

Integrating ERM into Strategic Planning

November 8, 2016, 12:00 – 1:00 EST

1.2 SOA/EA CPD, CAS CE Credits/Training Hours

Integrating ERM into Strategic Planning: Evolving to Risk-Reward Management

The promise of ERM is to better inform business decision making. Unfortunately, most ERM programs are only able to support mitigation decisions. In this webinar, we reveal the design flaws in common ERM frameworks that result in the inability of ERM programs to support upside decision making in general. We then present a value-based ERM approach that synthesizes ERM with value-based management and discuss how this supports the full range of risk-reward decision making processes. Finally, we discuss how a value-based ERM approach enhances the strategic planning process, and also share case studies.

Who Should Attend?

Anyone interested in enterprise risk management (ERM). This is accessible to those without any prior ERM background and also provides practical helpful lessons to advanced ERM professionals on how to deal with some of the most challenging risks in the organization.
