What was your longest run as a shooter?

If you had a 30-minute run, tell us how much $$$ you won.

I've never had a decent run, but a guy at a table I was at had the best run I've seen. He was just short of 90 minutes. By the end, we had 3 pit bosses watching the table. I started with approximately $50 Cdn (it was in Windsor), and when he finally crapped out I lost about $700 Cdn that was on the table, and walked away with about $1000 Cdn. I believe I tipped the roller $50 or so.

Watched a guy at the Trop in AC roll the dice for about an hour and twenty minutes. When it was all over, I heard him say to his friend that he had been down to his last $50. Walked away from the table with well over $50K. The neat thing is that I stood there and watched the entire thing. At first, just a handful of people playing/watching (maybe 5 or 6). By the end, people were jammed around the table, probably ten deep. Man was it loud.

Anybody out there enjoy watching people gamble as much (if not more) than actually doing it yourself. Man, I can stand there for hours and just watch.

I think all those that are saying 30 minutes or more are exagerating the time just a bit.... Over the times I have gone to AC, the longest I have ever seen someone roll was when I once did for 19 minutes- only problem was I was playing the "dont pass line", like I always do.... because I only do single odds, I only lost in the 2 digits, thank goodness, though I think I helped the rest of the table quite a bit.

I rolled for 15 minutes once. I saw a girl roll for 25 minutes 3 times in a row. I didn't win much because it was a dollar table. It did have 10X odds, but I was so drunk, I kept forgetting to put them on. She ended up going home with a guy that looked like he was homeless after she rolled a 4th time and crapped out almost immediately. I ended up breaking even at the end of the night.

we need to get together a group of players all betting against the shooter, that way we get the better odds and the table doesn't get pissed at you

If you spend enough time in a casino you'll see all manner of things. I've seen rolls over 30 minutes a couple times. Some of my favorite 'observations'...

1. Saw a guy walk to a BJ table, put down a $1000 bet, won with a 20, picked up his winnings and walked out of the casino. Card counter?

2. Played at a table with the worst BJ player you have ever seen. Splitting face cards, hitting on 15 and 16 against 4 and 6's, etc. One hand he put's up $500, draws a 16, dealer has a 4, DOUBLES DOWN, pulls a 4, dealer has a 14 and breaks with the next card. Two people cursed him out, called him an idiot and walked away from the table.

3. Found a $25 chip on the floor near the Big Wheel (which I never play). Threw it on 45 to 1 for fun and hit. Lost half back playing BJ but had a ball.

4. Lastly, I was up about $1000 playing BJ one night. Casino raised the minimum on my table from $25 to $50. I'm up so I figure I'll play (plus I'm pretty much lit up like a xmas tree) $100 a hand. 14 hands later I'm down $1700. I lost every single one. 4 times the dealer drew to 21 (2x's with a 5, once with a 6 and once with an 8) to beat my 20. Painful.

Playing in AC once, I was down about $200 and ready to leave, but I bought another $100 of chips.
A guy at the far end of the table got the dice and rolled for close to a half hour.
I was making bets "for the boys" and they and I were winning nicely.
The shooter colored out for just over $100; I colored out for $1295, tipped the dealers the $95 and headed back home MUCH happier than I had been half an hour earlier.
