Default actuarial clubs

does anyone know anything about the Hartford or Albany (Adirondack) actuarial clubs? I live equidistant to Hartford and Albany and about a half an hour farther away from Boston. I know that the Boston actuarial clubs offers weekly classes taught by Mahler for courses 3 and 4, and I'm wondering if Hartford or Albany does the same. And if so, who teaches them.

Any info would be great.

Thanks.

I went to SUNY Albany. Not much as far as actuarial clubs is concerned. They do have a few relevant classes though...Interest Theory, Life Contingencies, Regression and Time Series.

Hartford does a lot of things jointly with the Boston Club, but I'm not sure about the exam related things. It was always too far away for me to get any use out of, so I never paid attention to the details.

I was in the Albany area for 10 years. I only attended one meeting of the Adirondack Actuarial Club as a life actuary. I found it more geared to the P&C and government sides than the life side.

There were no classes/seminars at that time.

My dues for the year were (IMHO) a waste.
