Another vote for Phineas & Ferb. It's got music, is visually engaging, and it has a repeated structure (not unlike Dora the Explorer or Blue's Clues... but far less annoying)

I also enjoyed the Wiggles - and I consider Ok Go as the Wiggles for adults (but some of their songs are kid-inappropriate, though the videos are really cool)

Screen time? Surely that is not the only option.

A couple of the shows I don't mind on netflix are Oddbods (good for 2.5yr old) and BeatBugs (lots of beatles music).

My son loved the Fresh Beat Band several years ago. Not sure if it's still on. The women on there were pretty cute.

Yeah, this was one of my favorites. Worth it just for the ending song alone. The shadow part always seemed aimed at parents. And it was fascinating to watch how Bear could control both arms by moving just one arm.

And another +1 for Phineas and Ferb

Ninja turtles cartoons were pretty cool. Not sure if appropriate for really young kids.

I don't remember Clifford the Big Red Dog being too annoying.
