Based on my count, there were a total of 49 points possible. A total of 8 people submitted guesses that got over 30 points, and so the 60% threshold that we've been taught to use as the split between passing and failing. Those 8 are, in order submitted,

1. Patience, with 36 points
2. mlschop, with 37 points
3. Meshuga, with 31 points
4. thing (that's me! hi mom!), with 31 points
5. LoneGirl, with 35 points
6. DownInTexas, with 37 points
7. bfore13, with 35 points
8. A Markov Chain, with 34 points

Therefore, based on first submission of the highest score, mlschop is this year's AOAAWP Champion!

mlschop, you have 45 seconds to make a speech. Go!
