Position information
A. Perform advanced strategy and design consulting to include the following:
Benefit strategy
Goal setting
Plan design
Pricing strategy
Bid/selection projects
Health plan management

B. Provide client leadership on targeted clients/prospects focusing on broader business objectives
Take ownership of outcomes
Delegate responsibilities effectively; coach and mentor team members
Build relationships with clients
Understand clients' business
Build relationships with Account Executives (AE), other Sales & Accounts associates, and team leads from other practices
Lead selling and entertainment activities
Analyze scoping needs
Develop business plan and integrated work plan with HRO and across practices within Benefits

C. Exhibit leadership in business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions

D. Leads/facilitate complex client meetings to measurable results

E. Form effective teams, share client background and goals, measure results, share ideas, identify process improvements, provide timely and regular coaching and feedback to team members

F. Oversee vendor negotiations and provide technical coaching to other team members

G. Act as strategic resource for HM consultants

H. Exhibit thought leadership for HM--understand and be able to articulate HM's Point of View to clients

I. Additional formal or informal responsibilities include:
People management or mentoring
Business development results
Workflow Management--staffing planning
Lead CSL training sessions/courses
Technical expertise
Understanding of Hewitt business and direction

J. Participate in industry trade groups and present to different business groups

K. Actively engage in peer review: have documents reviewed before going to client and review others

College degree (or equivalent experience)
Work Experience:
Project management experience
People management experience or equivalent skills (depending on people management responsibilities)
Broad business knowledge/perspective
Team building skills
Health care experience (12+ years)
Consulting experience (6+ years)
Business development experience
